Buyer BEWARE
I have bought THREE of these & they always tear within a few weeks. The only reason I keep purchasing them is because I have a wooden ironing board that was given to my mother in NY by an old Italian neighbor over 40 years ago. It's longer than today's models so I can't easily find a cover for it. However, I'll save my money and look elsewhere for a more durable one.

Great cover
I disagree with the other reviews. I bought this cover and I love it. I'm thinking of ordering one for my sister. I love that it's a neutral color and doesn't have a drawstring tie. It fits snuggly on the ironing board and has just the right amount of padding. The iron rest is a waste of time - they could just remove that from package and lower price to $19.99 and I think this item would be a great value.

Disappointed
The first thing I tried to iron with the new pad was black slacks. White lint transferred everywhere. The pad cannot be washed. It bunches on the ironing board. I am trying to brush off the lint from the slacks. Real Simple has become Real Difficult!

Poor Padding-Don't buy it.
Very dissapointed in the ironing board set,. The last one I bought @ BBB had a wool type pad that lasted for a very long time. Replaced the cover a couple times but the pad was very sturdy and needed replaced. Couldn't find one like it, so bought this one. Padding seems fine and cushy at first but now it is bunching at the tapered end of the board and it is awful! the extra plastic iron rest is nice, so at least I got one good thing out of it. going out to the internet to find a DECENT replacement.
