Wood is Not The Best
The Rectangular Umbrella is nice for coverage. Have the umbrella for only a month and the wood pole is already splitting. Doesn't withstand any weather. Recommend Metal Pole only.

yes & no purchase -we'll see how long it holds up
the umbrella is beautiful and is the exact color we wanted. as expected, we received the umbrella in a few easily put together pieces, however the umbrella topper came damaged - with a crack going straight down the middle. when up, the umbrella itself hangs crooked - maybe because it's so big? the wooden umbrella rod and arms seem like they don't hold up the material very well. the umbrella came with the pulley system completely dismantled and tangled, and although we've had it for several weeks, we have yet to figure out how to get the pulley system to work, which makes it VERY difficult to put up - especially for one person.
