With the same tools used by professionals, the C81 ironing board has a built-in vacuum and up-air so you can achieve a crisp finish on all your garments. Pressing on a regular ironing board eventually leads to a damp ironing surface. The secret to great finishing is to keep the ironing table dry. Use the vacuum for pressing a shirt or putting in a crease, while up-air (blowing) is great for delicates, so the iron won't leave an impression or crush the nap. This pro-style ironing board is height adjustable from 30.5" - 38.5" H. It boasts a quick-dry textured polyester cover set on a 16" W x 48.5" L pressing surface. The tube frame construction offers maximum rigidity and stability. To ensure the inside of the C81 stays dry and rust free, a heating element comes on as soon as the power switch has been turned on. The C81 folds up with the pull of one lever, folding down to a very compact 16" W x 7" D x 55" L. 1-year warranty. Made in Italy.

I'M A STUDENT OF TAILORING, AND FIND THIS IRONING BOARD TO HAVE BEEN A GOOD INVESTMENT, REALLY FINE QUALITY COMPONENTS; EASY TO SET UP AND USE; VERSATILE FOR GARMENT CONSTRUCTION, HOME DECORATIVE SEWING, AND CRAFTING APPLICATIONS. I USE IT WITH AN OLDER ROWENTA STEAM BOILER IRON, AND THEY SEEM TO HAVE BEEN MADE FOR EACH OTHER. CAVEAT; THE BOARD WORKS WITH A PEDAL TO POWER THE VACUUM, THIS REQUIRES SOME EASY GETTING USED TO. SO FAR, I CAN RECOMMEND IT
