Safety 1st® Comfy Cushy Potty Trainer and Step Stool
Disgusted with cushion
This potty seemed like a great potty and my son loves it; I am the one that doesn't. The cushion seat wicks up urine and after a few days of serious potty training, it started to stink horribly not to mention how unsanitary it is! I empty the potty immediately after each use, but that did not seem to make a difference. Also, the cup on the cushion does not do a good job of catching little boy's urine. Now I am searching for a new potty without a removable cushion.

Small and uncomfortable
If my son had ever actually used this, I might comment on the absorbency of the cushion. I bought this when my son was 2 and in my opinion, it is just too small. When he would get up off it, he would have a red ring, he could not see between his legs, and the "guard" irritated him. They need to make these potty seats for TODDLERS not INFANTS.

Absorbent "Comfy" Ring
My daughter was very excited when we bought this potty for her. It is durable and easy for her to use. We also like that she can use it as a step-stool also. I was disgusted when my husband found out one day that the pink comfy ring is absorbent. He started squeezing it and off-color urine came out. I was appalled that a company would make something a child sits on to potty absorbent. If we would have known this before purchasing it, we would have never even thought twice about not buying it.

I got this chair mainly because it matches the bathroom, but it also looked like a good one. Yet, despite my cleaning the bowl and cushy seat with Clorox wipes each time my son uses the potty, the seat smells like urine. I have noticed that when I wipe the seat, the soft material remains wet from the Clorox wipe, so I guess it holds in all fluids. It's disgusting, so I'm throwing out the seat at least. I would not recommend this product.
