Overall good for a simple party
The bottom of the cake pops looked better than the top but you can't tell much after you decorate them. I used this product to make my son some cake pops for his birthday and he loved them. So overall good for something simple. I would leave the cake pops in the freezer longer than 15 minutes, they didn't stick well to the stick.

I love this item because it is so fast and quick. and perfect cake pops each time. easy clean up. the only thing is that I never got a fork thing to take out the cake pops. Just the cake pop maker, sticks, and the cake pop holder. That was it. But it great.

Worst Christmas present ever!
I bought this for my 17 year old daughter as a gift for Christmas. It was a complete surprise, and she was so excited to try it out. She went from ecstatic, to disappointed in less than 30 minutes. This is the worst item ever. The top and the bottom cooking plates don't line up properly, so none of the cake balls came out like a ball. They all came out looking like a deformed football, because they oozed between the plates. Despite following the instructions step by step, none of the balls rose enough to fill in the top plate. Did I also mention that we used the batter recipe provided in the owner's manual?! Not only that, but by the time you finally get all the balls filled, the bottom part has already started cooking and comes out tough and overcooked by the time you close the lid and cook the top part.
We thought, to take care of this problem, we would try cooking the next batch by turning off the unit, letting it cool down, and then filling each well first, and then plug it in to cook. That didn't work either. The outside cooked but the inside was still raw!
Even though it is non stick, and we coated the inside of each well before putting batter in, the batter still stuck inside and we had to soak the wells to get the excess cake out. Don't waste your time or money with this thing! So disappointing.

I love my babycake pop Maker. The little cakes are loved by everyone, young (8 yr) old (93). My only problem is, but it has nothing to do with the maker, that I can't find white Jiffy cake mixes at stores. I will try to adapt a regular cake mix. the grand kids loved decorating them.
I bought 2 extra holders to accomodate all the pops that are made in one recipe.
I would highly reccomend this product for some one who loves to bake .

Works like it's supposed to. Made a polka dot cake for adults and it went over big! Definitely not just for kids. Used boxed white cake mix & Wilton colors. Will add flavorings next time for a kick.

LUV LUV LUV IT!!!
I am not a baker, but just bought the Babycakes Cake Pop Maker yesterday, used it last night, and felt like I was. I googled tips and found that if using a box mix, add a box of pudding, use 1/2 the amount of liquid and use milk instead of water and add an extra egg. I made red velvet cake balls, and they turned out beautifully. The cake balls are baked in about 2 to 3 minutes. I turned off the machine to add the batter, then closed it, and turned it on, 2 or 3 minutes later, perfect balls. I also have the Wilton Chocolate Melter, which makes covering the balls a breeze. The size is perfect. I stopped putting them on sticks and just let them cool on parchment paper. I will put each little bite in a small cupcake paper and serve them that way. Very, Very Happy. Looking fowardard to making these for the holidays
