Not just for sofa beds--fits regular mattress
This mattress pad fits very well on my old-fashioned mattress that is 8" thick. Other modern mattress pads have deep sides, up to 24", which just bunches up and slips around if your mattress is the thinner kind. This pad also has some slight padding that is comfortable. Only the top is 100% cotton though -- the filling & sides are poyester.

Too big
This mattress pad should not say it is for a sofa bed in the title. It is for a thinner mattress (ie not pillow top etc) But the skirt is way to big to say it is for a sofa bed. It is an average mattress pad.
