TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE!!!
I have a nice, standard-sized, black Ashley sofa still in great condition, but wanted a color change. I looked into purchasing a new sofa, but to save on money I decided to purchase a slipcover instead. I saw the reviews on this product and watched videos on the manufacturers website, and thought that this would be a great alternative. Today, I finally went to get one for my sofa. NOT a good idea....
1) The color is not as shown. I fell in love with the sage green color pictured, but once seeing the slipcover in the store I noticed it was significantly darker than what is online. I purchased it anyway because I thought maybe it was due to the store lighting. NOPE.
2) Actually putting the slipcover on my sofa was not as simple as the video / instructions make it seem. The video shows an average women easily slipping the slipcover onto her furniture, and having no issues with stretching and readjusting it on her own. Not the case at all. I had to ask my mother for help, and even then it was not an easy task.
3) The fit was all wrong. The instructions state that the fabric snaps back into place once stretched over your furniture. Again that was not the case. On some parts it was so obviously loose, and on other parts it didn't even stay put (kept riding up).
My sofa was well withing the requirements according to the products fit guide, but no matter how hard I tried, it would not fit properly. I am completely dissatisfied with this purchase and am going to return it tonight.

An excellent choice!!
This slipcover was easy to put on, the instructions were easy to read, and the cover fits perfectly. The top back of my couch is uneven, and the slipcover followed the curves with no problems. It looks every bit as good as the picture, (if not better)!! The material is comfortable to sit on and looks elegant, it looks like a brand-new sofa. I would recommend this to anyone.
