Warning, do not use without UV light attached
This unit needs to be cleaned daily or bacteria buildup spews into the air and especially affects asthmatics and people with allergies. It causes flu like symptoms and sinus infections. A doctor's attention is needed to remedy the infection. The ones with a UV light kill the bacteria.

Does the job
This humidifier has been in my 2 year old's room since she was born. It seems to work well as long as we drop the demineralization capsules in every few months. I took off one star because I agree that filling the water is a bit of a pain. The top should be flat so I can lay one down while filling the other. Also, it does need to be dried out with the tanks off of it every once in a while to prevent it from getting gunky.

I like that it doesn't make noise but I don't like the white film on everything.

Awesome humidifier with quirks
I've got no complaints as far as the function of the device and have no issues filling the tanks (I hold onto them when they're under the tap).
That said, its got some oddities. The green power light is very bright, like light up the room bright. So, the "night light" around the humidity adjustment knob is about useless and kind of a silly feature.
With it cranked to maximum, you will get condensation on the top of the unit and it will run off and make puddles on whatever you have it sitting on. When running it on high, I slap a couple of paper towels on top and that's that.
The only hiccup I've had with it is that it didn't swap tanks one time, i.e. when one tank ran out, it didn't start drawing from the second tank. But, like I said, that's only happened once.
All in all, I dig it and I'm very happy with it.
