Beautiful- but be careful
I love the look of this flatware- it's beautiful and timeless. I registered for this and all of the sets were mailed to my house. When I started cleaning them I realized that some of the knife handles had deep scratches on them...when looking at the packaging it looks like the forks are packaged with the prongs facing downward toward the knife handles. Out of the 12 place settings I received this was apparent in 9 of them. I took them back to BB&B and waited for new ones to arrive....2 weeks later after receiving the new ones I then had to exchange 4 of them...after that I had to exchange 1 more set. This was a huge pain in the butt. I would have just exchanged all of them for a completely different set but couldn't find one I liked and matched our china better.
I currently have the sets still in their original boxes and will need to get a flatware chest to keep all the pieces separate in fear of them scratching each other.
Pro: Beautiful classic and timeless
Con: Scratches easily and not as heavy as hoped

Gorgeous and classic
I received 12 place settings of this beautiful flatware for my wedding and I couldn't have been more pleased. They have a gorgeous, yet very simple, design around the edges that make for elegant utensils without being over-the-top fancy. I also received both of the hostess sets with the serving pieces, and they make a great rounded set. This flatware goes perfect with my full set of Lenox china that I inherited from my parents. I also love that they can go in the dishwasher! Vera Wang is timeless!
