Cute but needs practice
I was lucky enough to find this pan on clearance since they did change the pan somewhat from last years model. There are no instructions that come with this pan which is a bit frustrating. This pan takes 1 1/2 boxes of cake mix. The bottom cupcake part is deeper vs the top part of the cupcake. This means the top part cooks faster than the other side and the cake tends to be dry. I think the design would have faired much better if the pan was two parts instead of one. Cook the cake at 325 degrees and it will take between 45 min to an hour. I did not have any issues getting the cake out of the pan, it flipped right out. With some tweaking, you can get the cake to come out moist in both parts but it requires filling the bottom part first, bake for a while and then add the batter to the top part of the pan. It does come out rather cute.
