lots of pre-buy research
I really read up on all the difft lighted makeup mirrors before choosing this one. I bought one for each of my teens. They love it! The light is indeed bright enough; the magnifation is just right. Batteries last a long time, etc. We live overseas where there are no outlets in bathrooms so really needed something cordless. I would buy this again!

Doesn't reach 22 inches
It doesn't reach the advertised 22 inches. It barely reaches 19 and that's just the rim of the mirror. Otherwise, nothing is wrong with the mirror. We returned it because we required a telescoping stand for our heights. If we had seen this in the store, we would have determined that it wouldn't reach the advertised height. One reason not to order things online when dimensions are critical.
