Couldn't live without it!
This machine is amazing! I drink a lot of loose leaf herbal tea. Each tea has a recommended temp for brewing and having this machine makes that so easy! I've had it for a year and use it every day, it is never off! I have had zero problems and couldn't live without it! When it does finally die I will most definitely buy another. Make sure you use their brand of cleaner to keep it clean!

Inaccurate temperature reading
I have had this brand of water heater in the past and really liked it. I set this one up, and let it get to the highest boiling temperature. The temperature reading was 212 degrees on the unit, but when I took a reading with a digital food thermometer it was only 189 degrees. According to the manual it will display a temperature of 212 degrees when the temperature is between 205-212, but this wasn't even close. This might be okay if an accurate temperature is not important to you, but it is important for green tea or coffee. An inaccurate temperature reading makes this unit unusable. I expected much better quality from the Zojirushi brand.

It's the best water kettle I have ever had - the last one I had lasted 10 yrs and it is the ONLY one I would ever purchase!
