Displeased With Resulting Quality
After about a year the plastic screw holders for what appears to be hex head screws broke thus eliminating the clamping on the rubber squeege. The plastic screw holders are cheap and not very sturdy. After it broke I attempted to unscrew the metal hex head screws but found that it is not possible to do. The rubber squeege gives the appearance that it could be replaced but it can't. Simplehuman WILL NOT REPLAE if it was not bought from their site. If the plastic screw holders don't break on you it may last but I doubt it.

A great product
I find this product lives up to the Simplehuman brand. I did not find the rubber 'too soft' nor the suction holder failing to stay on the wall.
I use my squeegee for my shower and it is the best I have found, quick and easy to use resulting in a perfect finish.

Disappointed
While this squeegee delivers the form that I've associated with simplehuman, it fails where function is concerned. The rubber is much too soft, so the ends cannot maintain pressure and results in water streaks being left behind. The locking mechanism for the foldaway feature is very weak as well. After almost a month of daily use, the handle on my squeegee no longer locks in place. This makes using it all the more aggravating. On the upside, the suction cup mounted hook has managed to stay on all this time. Go figure.

Bummed
I purchased this because simple human makes very good quality products. However, maybe I can use one of their nice trash cans to throw it away. Rubber strip does not clean well, most irritating thing of all......the suction cup won't stay on the wall. Keeps falling off no matter what I try. I hate it.
