Mahogany shows off the carved detail around the table top and legs. Low profile makes it the perfect sofa height with easy access to magazines and books on the lower shelf. Solid Bombay Company quality
I've missed Bombay Company furniture. It's always been so easy to put together and it looks so good. So when we needed to replace our smaller Bombay Company coffee table with a larger one, and this showed up, I was in heaven! I put it together myself, although it was a little awkward and would have been easier if I'd waited for my husband (I never was patient like that, though). It loses a star because it shows dust like crazy and you can only use a damp cloth to clean it, not a cloth with any sort of furniture spray on it. With previous Bombay Company furniture, I could use Pledge or Endust - here, you're warned specifically not to use such sprays or you'll ruin the finish, which does seem slightly cheaper-looking than the old Bombay furniture. But it still looks great, and we're glad we made the purchase. I expect that, with care, it will last a good long time. So yay! Thanks for bringing this back, BB&B!
