A winning compromise ...
Pros:
great combination of colors
*large* cereal/soup bowls (interesting shape)
seemingly durable -- heavy
Cons:
dinner plates are *large* (13") so can't stand up straight in the dishwasher (angling takes more space, but no problem with getting them clean)
glazing/printing of background colors overlaps black edging lines and even the "berry shapes" -- very inconsistent -- the biggest disappointment
Have had them 3 months now. No problems, and have gotten many compliments. They are definitely "unique" for the price point.
