Bialetti® Moka Express 3-Cup Stovetop Espresso Maker
Hi, I've being using this machine for almost 30 years and it became really old looking, but was still making good coffee. However, I have relatives visiting from Italy soon and I thought I should get a new one. I visited several stores including BB$B and either I couldn't find the right size or prize. So I search on line and I found what I was looking for on your website. Since I had a previous nice experience with the people at the Sawgrass store in Sunrise, I went back to talk to somebody. They were very helpful and pleasant and put together the order for me. I had a nice discount and in just few days I had my new Bialetti ( the brand was the most important thing) Moka espresso machine. And is just beautiful, and makes very good coffee. In my opinion is a great product, but what is important here is the experience with the people at your store. Other companies could use the same kind of people.

Amazing customer service
replacement is so easy and their customer service, in general, is amazing. If you are wavering between two similar products, and one is Bialetti, go for them for this reason alone.

Great little coffee maker
I love this coffee maker. It makes strong coffee in about 10 minutes. If you want a full coffee mug go for the 6 cup machine. This one is pretty small and only yields about 1/2 of a coffee mug. It is great for camping. Light weight and warms up quickly over a small stove.

This is great. I actually use it as a coffee maker. I am the only person in my household who drinks coffee so this is the perfect product for one nice size cup. I think it taste better then most other coffees made from other products too!

Steam espresso. Easy and bold
Uses steam pressure to push boiling water through the grounds. True espresso would use a pump with higher pressure, so it is not espresso like you get at a cafe, but it is still pretty good. No moving parts to wear out - just the rubber ring between the two parts gets old and hard, and is available online. Also, my top knob cracked and got loose, so I replaced it with a decorative knob from the hardware store. The 3-Cup is a good size for two people, if you like yours a bit on the strong side. Great gift, but you need to give tips or they may just put it on the back shelf and keep Mr Coffee working.
* How much water should I use? It is kind of dark inside and the fill line gets hard to judge. I fill the bottom with water to overflowing, and put in the strainer basket. Then I turn it upside down for 1 1/2 seconds so the water level will be slightly below the strainer. Remove the strainer so you can fill it with coffee, and let the water in the strainer dribble back into the bottom half.
* How much coffee should I use? You can play with this. I like it full strength. Fill the strainer basket to overflowing and then tap the side of the basket to settle the coffee. It taps better if the strainer is not in the bottom. Scrape off any coffee that still bulges up after tapping.
*How long does it take? How long does your stove take to boil a cup of water? About 4 minutes on my gas stove. Keep the flame under the coffee pot, not so high that it burns up the sides.
*How do I know when it is done? You will hear it bubbling. When the pot bubbles, the water level in the lower part has dropped to the level of the pick up tube, and you are done. Waiting for the bubbling to stop will overheat the coffee pot and the coffee in it.
*Do I drink it straight? If you like espresso straight, drink it straight. I like an Americano, so I pour into 2 cups and add 1/4 cup of tap water to each to cool to a drinkable temp.
*How do I clean it? Rinse out the top, but do not scrub - build a brown layer to buffer between coffee and metal. Brush and rinse the grounds off the rubber gasket so you get a good seal next time. Brush and rinse the grounds out of the strainer basket. Rinse out the bottom.

I love my Moka. It's easy to use and easy to clean. I use it everyday for my morning coffee. My only complaint is that it takes a while (about 15 minutes). I start it and then go about making breakfast while it heats up. Other than the time, I love this thing! If you're going to Starbucks everyday, this thing will pay itself off in a week.
