Bissell® Pet Hair Eraser Vacuum
Remove stubborn pet hair build-up from even the toughest areas to reach. The Bissell® Pet Hair Eraser dual cyclonic vacuum features superior suction, a rotating brush, and a pet hair lifter on the wide foot. The Pet Contour Tool bends and flexes to pull out dirt and hair stuck on stairs, armrests, and other curved or hard to reach surfaces. The Pet Hair Turbo Brush combines a rotating brush with special rubber fingers that work as magnets to attract and pick up pet hair. Cyclonic cleaning technology keeps the filter clean longer for superior suction power. Through cyclonic cleaning, more dirt and pet hair stays in the dirt container where it belongs. Vacuum features a headlight, 7 height adjustments, a 14 foot flexible stretch hose, a 35 foot power cord, a crevice tool, a curved hose wand and an extension wand. UL listed. Model #3920.
Bissell® Pet Hair Eraser™ Vacuum 1 1
Still working after 18 months Unlike the Bissell SpotBot Pet, which I purchased at the same time, the Pet Hair Eraser is still going strong after 18 months of vacuuming at least 2 to 3 times a week. It has a strong motor with pretty good suction and deals with the hair of two dogs and a cat pretty well. I have a 110 lb sled dog, with a double fur coat, and he is the ultimate test of this vacuum. Generally if you have a northern/sled breed dog, a vacuum will last about 8 months, (or 2 coat blowing seasons) before the motor or suction just die, and that's with taking it apart and cleaning out the insides regularly. The Pet Hair Eraser is my 4th vacuum with my big fuzzy guy and it's lasted more than twice as long as my regular Bissell and two Hoovers. Also, I have only cleaned out the insides once, which is a bloody miracle as I used to have to take apart my old vacuums every week to clean out the fur. I haven't even had to replace the belt yet, another miracle. Also, the little pet hair attachment with the spinning brush is awesome. No more going over the furniture repeatedly till the hair comes up, the attachment picks it up on the first pass, so there's time to do all the furniture quickly. The stair attachment is another story. It works fine, but the base of the vacuum is too wide to fit on the stairs without falling down them, except on the larger triangular steps, where the stairwell turns. The other contributor to it's falling down the stairs is that it's a little top heavy and prone to falling over if bumped, and a heavy vacuum in general. One other small issue is that the pet hair lifting strip starts to detach from the vacuum after frequent use on my berber (yuk) carpet. I just reattached it with a small strip of duct tape and it's good to go, but I think it's a replaceable part as well. May 21, 2011
