Black & Decker® ScumBuster Xtreme
Not sure if I like the ScumBuster yet!
I read the charging instructions 5 times. It said the charger's red LED will light up when it's charged. THERE IS NO LED LIGHT ON THE CHARGER!! Kept it plugged in for more than the recommended 16 hours (@20 hours and the charger wasn't even warm which is something else the instructions said would happen, but that's not a problem--I did plug it in to a working outlet which I use to charge my iPhone), and decided to use it anyway. Worked only OK. Did not completely remove the black scum in the crevices of my walk-in shower. Will have to use more "elbow-grease", I guess! I mean, this is why I bought it in the first place: to avoid using elbow-grease!
Called Black & Decker Tech Support about the LED light. All they said was there is no LED light on the charger. DUH! And, just charge it for the recommended 16 hours, and it should be fine to use. And, to charge it before every use. Well, we'll see how it works over the next year. May need to post another review at that time.

Black and Decket Scum Bustet
I live this product. It saves my hands from pain since the scrub buster does the scrubbing. Easy to use and is effective in removing soap scum and mildew in the bathroom. I also use it on my vinyl flooring. I purchased one for a friend with arthritis and she loves hers too.

Lives up to its name!
This is my second ScumBuster as I had the older version and overall this model is more effective on the majority of surface areas. Its only drawback is needing a smaller long brush like the old model to really get into certain spaces like behind the facet and deep into corners. I recommend it highly for tubs and showers. Your worktime will be dramamtically cut down!

black and decker scumbuster
This is awesome! Everyone should have one! I'm going to use it with a different pad to polish my shower and tub.

Great product for all kinds of jobs, used on showers and on my fiberglass pool

Bristles too stiff--they skitter over the surface and the scrubber is hard to control. Rotation like a paper towel roll is less effective than rotation like a disk of the original Scumbuster. Battery life is bad. You must apparently wait until the battery is completely dead before you recharge. No indication when battery is fully charged. If you charge the battery too soon, you can kill it forever, and there is no way to replace the battery! Why doesn't this thing use Versa-Pak batteries like other B&D products? It has been languishing in my broom closet for a year or so, and I will throw it away next trash day. I should have returned it, but sometimes that all seems like more trouble than it is worth.
