Yankee Candle® Housewarmer® Beach Wood™ Large Classic Candle Jar
I love it when I get the chance to take a piece of drift wood home from the beach. It doesn't happen often. It has a certain salty earthy goodness smell to it and that is exactly what this candle reminds me of. Yankee did a great job with this one!

This is one of my favorite candle scents. It reminds me of the smell when you walk into Abercrombie. Living in a beach area doesn't really remind me of a beach smell still one of my top go to candles! Definitely recommend getting this one.

I purchased this candle to accompany other beach scents I have. While it is not my favorite beach scent, it is pretty good. I usually burn this one alongside another (beach walk, under the palms, etc.) for added yumminess. It has a great throw but can be a bit strong (and I prefer strong throws).

light crisp clean fragrance.
Surprisingly light airy fragrance without over powering aromas.

I love this fragrance. Perfect throw not to strong not to light. Smells wonderful. One of my favorite summer scents. Reminds me of being on the beach.

Throw This Back in the Ocean
Beach Wood has a pleasant aroma, but you must be in close proximity to the candle if you want to enjoy it.
With a weak fragrance akin to that of sunblock, an apropos name for this candle would be SPF No.

Not a Day at the Beach
I bought Beach Wood for one reason… vetiver. Oh, how I so wanted to like this candle. However, not only did Beach Wood not have a scent I expected, (I thought with the driftwood it might at least have an earthy scent) this candle barely had any scent at all.
The description for Beach Wood said that there's vetiver in this candle. I didn't smell any vetiver. I didn't smell any salt air nor driftwood. I didn't smell anything, even with my nose practically over the flame, while this candle burned. When cold this candle has a very, very, faint, what seemed to be, sweet scent. (I don't think, maybe I am wrong, that vetiver is sweet….?)
I burned Beach Wood the first time for a few hours. I burned it a second time and then a third time. I really wanted to give this candle a good chance before I made up my mind. I really wanted to smell the vetiver. (If I am not mistaken about the scent, I do like vetiver.) After several hours of burning Beach Wood, I still couldn't smell anything. Disappointed, I finally gave up and returned this. I guess I'll just keep looking for something vetiver scented that I like……

I dont go on vacation much, so this candle is my memory of the shore. It literally smells like the boardwalk.
