Don't buy this product it peels off!!!!
All those beautiful bees, owls and other motives peel off with the baby saliva. It is made very cheep for how expensive this is. My baby use to play and did lots of tummy time in this particular product of foam tiles until I realized that just from his baby saliva the paint or plastic from the design started coming off big time to the point that little particles of the paint from the motives got stuck on his clothes and hands....Don't buy this, i think the residue could be toxic for an infant or at least not healthy!!!! You are better off buying the ones without animal motives!!!

So pretty!!! I get tons of compliments
So pretty, but defective the corners are peeling and I have only owned my three sets for two weeks and my baby isn't super active at 5 months. I have contacted skip hop and I am waiting to hear back with a solution.

Not recommended for the curious baby
I'm very disappointed with the quality of this floor mat... I originally purchased it because of the bright and fun graphics, I'm familiar with the Skip*Hop brand, and it seemed like an innovative mat.
The mat kept it's shape for about 3 weeks, but then the thin colorful layers on the squares started peeling up and curling on the mat. My baby (7 months) of course noticed this and started picking at the material.
This must be a factory defect, because this poses a SERIOUS choking hazard! Two of the three red squares are now completely white because I had to remove the thin color layer. This did not take any effort, I gently pulled on it and it peeled off.
My baby is also figured out that she could pick up the gray connector pieces and easily bend back the individual squares...
This mat will probably work for you if your baby like to sit in one place and not move around and explore.

Looks great but a little pricey
I was very excited to get this for my children despite the fact that it was a bit over-priced compared to other foam floor mats. It looks very nice on the packaging and looks even nicer once assembled. The colors are vibrant and the animal characters are friendly-looking.
My kids like to roll around and crawl on it and know that it's play time when they're placed on it. Sometimes they pull, bend, and bite the connector pieces and tiles. I don't think this would happen that much if there was more thickness to the foam. Also, the total surface area of the mat is a good size for just one baby. I'm noticing that my twins don't have much room to share on the mat as they grow and become more mobile.
If you're going for design and looks, this is very appealing. If these things don't matter to you, then consider a different floor mat.
