The patented housing is tamper-proof and safe around children and pets. The monitor has a clear view window to check if bed bugs have been detected and trapped. These monitors can be checked and reinserted easily where bed bugs are suspected and the sturdy plastic construction prevents the monitor from being crushed by heavy mattresses. Not really worth it
Had a full infestation of our townhouse. I would watch bugs crawl over the trap and around the trap, but not into it. I flicked one in to show our housing office and it held the bugs very well, but if they don't go in this product really doesn't do much.
