GREAT FOR REAL PASTA LOVERS!
I bought two of these sets and getting ready to buy two more. These are REAL pasta bowls and hold a healthy portion of pasta and have room for shell food, etc. without dripping all over. They are great and very much recommended!

Quality not up to par with the rest of this nice pattern
I was very disappointed with this pasta set. The first time I used it one of the bowls cracked in the dishwasher. Today, just sitting on my shelf, it just broke in half. The weight of this does not even feel as durable as the rest of the many pieces I have in this pattern. The serving bowl is larger that any of the other serving pieces I own and is difficult to store. I really wanted to like this, as we eat pasta often, but I hesitate to even use it because I am worried about breakage.

Large base for stirring.
This is my favorite pasta bowl. The size and shape is perfect for stirring the pasta to prevent sticking and it looks fantastic.

Beautiful and functional addition to my Italian Countryside!
I had been wanting to purchase a pasta bowl set for a long time. After considering many attractive patterned sets at various retail stores, I decided to "play it safe" and add to my growing "Italian Countryside" collection of dinnerware. I am so glad I did! The set is simply beautiful! Many of the patterned sets on the market are cute and fun. But, in my opinion, there are not many that compare favorably to the beauty and quality of these bowls. In a few short weeks I've used them to serve pasta, salads, and meal-sized soup dishes. I'm very happy with this purchase!

small dishes nice, large bowl too big
I wish you could buy the 4 small dishes separately... I just wanted those. They are very nice. The large bowl is way to large to fit in an average kitchen cabinet and unless you have a family of 8 you will not realistically be able to fill it with pasta.

We bought 2 to give at Christmas to someone who has this pattern.
