It allows you to hold your hand in its natural position for stability and control, and provides comfort and reduces slipping. The revolutionary shape has internal ribbing to reduce suction for greater control and efficient blending. The non-scratch base prevents scratching pots, and the blending shaft and ice crushing blades are stainless steel. Immersion depth is 8" for large quantities or tall pots. Chopping bowl has stainless steel chopping blades for herbs, nuts and cheese. Extra-large jug comes with a dual-purpose storage lid and anti-slip mat. After trying too many of brands this is the best easy to clean don't need muscle to use, non scratch built in witch is so good u don't need to put and remove every time the material is so good for the price I do the hard strawberry without milk or water and it do go job crashing it well I am glad I found it

AWESOME for RV
Breville BSB400XL Hand Blender I live in an RV and my hands are so painful I can't use manual utensil's. This very small blender is the perfect size, power, speed, clean up, and does every thing that's promised. It does not scar up my bowls or pots, because of the guard. One thing that is not mentioned, is the plug has a hole for your finger to fit in, so it's very easy to pull out. I wish every appliance had this plug hole. I hope they will add attachments to slice, peel, and maybe a small stand while adding ingredients, this would make my day. This was the best kitchen item I've bought in a very long time. Please add this blender to all RV buyer's companies. Thank you LORD for this special gift.

best new kitchen tool
This has become my "what to have for" breakfast, snack, lunch or late dinner helper. As the bananas get too ripe for others, I can easily add them to my smoothie. Quick prep of vegetables and I have my soup base without all that messy chopping and onion tears.
I love the quick clean up of the pieces and the wonderful safe feature of the "finger hole" electrical plug. That little extra makes me smile every time I unplug my Breville.

Great new tool
On the recommendation of a friend, I purchased this blender. It's a great addition to my kitchen. Now I will make more healthy soups and other dishes that takes a quick blending. Easy to clean, too.
