Distilled or reverse osmosis water is not recommended as this may cause overfilling in the drip tray. Way better tha the Mini keurig
I purchsed my Mr. Coffee Keurig after my Mini Keurig broke down. I have to say this little beast works great. It brews coffee allot faster than the mini Keurig and it holds more water. The only problem i had so far was after 8 months it began to clog up. I unglogged the needle that comes down into the K-cup with a paperclip and BAM the machine began to work like the first day i took it out of the box. Now i can continue to enjoy that fresh brew at me desk. Thank you Mr. Coffee!

Mr. coffee
I very glad I purchase this because it help me not waste a pot of coffee that I use to make and nobody drinks it but me. So it was a good purchase.

Poor Quality, Weird Smell
I've made several cups of coffee with this brewer and each time, there is a weird smell like burning plastic. The coffee also has a strange, plastic-y taste. I have read of the smell happening in other reviews and decided to take my chances, but overall I am very disappointed in this machine and will be returning it. I washed the reservoir and ran plain water through before brewing coffee in the hope that it would rinse out anything that would affect the quality of the coffee, but even with that precaution it's still far from satisfactory.
The coffee temperature also seems to be lower than I would like, and I am not a fan of all the plastic pieces. The drip try and reservoir, and the reservoir lid, are all detachable, which might be nice for cleaning, but all came apart when I took the product out of the box and it was kind of a hassle to reassemble it all. Overall, it seems like a cheap knock-off of a Keurig.

LOVE IT!
I bought this as a birthday present to myself and love it! I was worried that the K cups would be expensive but have found that with the popularity of these single serve machine, lots of people are making them. And with BB & B's frequent 20% off coupons, you can get them there at a reasonable price. I really like that you can make more than one cup of coffee after filling the machine. Highly recommend this product!
