The Big Blue Studio Wireless Speaker uses Bluetooth® technology to pair with most Bluetooth-enabled devices, from your smartphone and MP3 player to your tablet. It works with your iPod®, iPhone®, iPad®, Android® or BlackBerry® device as well as with Bluetooth-enabled netbooks, laptops and more, making it one of the most compatible wireless speakers around. You simple sync your device once, and the wireless speaker remembers it after that. Strategically built Big Blue includes two full-range speaker drivers (for stereo highs and mids) and a down-firing subwoofer and passive radiator for bass. Stream content from your device through the speaker to enjoy hi-fi audio for all media. It plays anything on your device or streamed from the Internet without docking. Brookstone Power failure
I would warn folks from buying anything Brookstone. The power adaptors on these are very poorly made and the people at Brookstone want them to fail so they can sell you a replacement part. I bought a new boom box from brookstone and the power source failed within several months. Without a plug, they don't work.
Forget Brookstone. The quality of their products is not what it used to be.
