Therapedic® Memorelle® Side Sleeper Pillow
Mixed review (1 great, 1 not-so-good)
I ordered two of these. One of them is terrific and gives me a wonderful night's sleep on my side with great neck support. The other deflated to about 2/3 to half of its original thickness within a week and remains much flatter than its mate. Why the difference?

My neck is sore by morning because it's too thick for side sleeping and it doesn't mold to my head. It is now in my linen closet staged to eventually be given away some day.

Loses Loft Fast
I am a side/back sleeper and a big guy with big shoulders. I need a pillow with good loft to keep my spine straight, but I don't like sleeping on couch cushions. I prefer a lofty pillow with some give. I spent about 10 years on Sealy Posturpedic pillows with a foam core covered with a faux down material, replacing them every 2-3 years. It came time for a replacement and I can no longer find this particular kind, with Sealy having been bought out recently. I spent months looking for a suitable alternative and finally settled on thse, seeing how incredibly lofty they are and reading the complaints in reviews about how high they are; they looked and sounded perfect.
Admittedly, the Memorelle was quite high the first few nights on it--too high for me, even. But, I stuck it out, knowing, like all pillows, it would go down a bit, and it did. And didn't stop. After about 2 weeks, this was flatter than my worn-out old Sealy. Granted, it isn't memory foam, so it can be fluffed-up, but it was requiring this several times per night, which means I was waking up a lot after having sunk in. On the positive, this pillow is made of a very nice, soft material that mimics down. It stays cool, which isn't something that can be said of most synthetics. My wife, who normally prefers really squishy down pillows, loves this one; it's all hers now.

the ladies in the store helped me find a new pillow since i havent bought one in 10 years.. well.. I get this one and its fine the first 3-4 days and then it went to being a horrible pillow... I sleep on my side 99% of the time and i have had little to NO support between my shoulder and neck.. if i want it in between like it was the first 3-4 days i have to fold it over.. It has went flat and if i wind up on my back in the middle of the night its basically shapes itself around the top of my head and i wake up with NO pillow under my head... totally not cool or ok.. called yesterday and talked to the manager and she said bring it back and they will help me find something else.. but as far as this pillow out of 1-10 id give it a 4 ONLY because it slept well for a few nights... DONT WASTE UR MONEY!

Love this Pillow!!!
I love this pillow, as the other reviews mention it is overstuffed but it just takes a little positioning to get it right it is easily manipulated. I have been sleeping so much better since I got it. I've had it for a week now and am still loving it!! I find if you lay on it in the middle it fills the gap in-between your neck and shoulder and gives awesome support thru out the night. you just have to get the positioning right for you!

If you are a giant or love your neck being pinned to your shoulder at night then this is the pillow for you. The fluffiness and material is wonderful! But it's so fat there is no way i could sleep on it. Returned it for the back and stomach sleeper of the same brand which is also overstuffed for a stomach/back sleeper but just enough less stuffed to be perfect for me. Highly recommend trying that pillow if you like the feeling of this one just not the thickness.

Not for side sleeping! But not a bad pillow...
I used this for two nights, and chose to return it (by the way, BB&B accepted the return of the pillow with no issues). I'm a back sleeper, but for some reason I liked the shape/contours of this pillow, so I tried it anyway. I am basing my review on the time I spent sleeping on my side, and have not marked it down due to how it feels while on my back.
When sleeping on my side, it's just too high and fat! A fantastic-feeling pillow in general--the memory foam material was perfect--but it keeps your head craned to the side all night. The same thing happens while sleeping on your back, though that's to be expected since it's called a side-sleeping pillow.
I will say, however, that it was the comfiest and best-feeling pillow I've ever used for propping me up in a sitting position! If you need a pillow for that, then I highly recommend this one. I also recommend it for anyone who wants to sleep on a high, fat pillow.
I chose to exchange it for a down-alternative pillow. I like bunching a lot of the pillow up beneath my neck for support, then digging a bowl out for my head to rest in, and this pillow will not allow any manipulation of its shape.

Big giant fat pillow
I agree with the other reviewer, I don't know who this pillow was made for, but it's so fat and huge a side sleeper could only "sleep" on it if they don't care that their neck is crooked for 24 hours after using it. SO uncomfortable. We could barely fit it into pillowcases. It's FAT and HARD. We returned them for the Stearns and Foster side sleeper pillows.
