works well for me
I always had problem with ice cube trays getting jostled in the freezer & spilling. This is a sturdy, compact unit. After you fill the tray with water, it fits right on top of the bucket & stays level in my freezer. Once frozen, just turn tray upside down over bucket & press on the indentations & the cubes pop right out, no more struggling. Good for those with arthritis or weak hands. The cubes are on the small size which is especially good when using my blender for smoothies. It was a splurge but it is good quality & should last a long time.

Cumbersome
It wasn't what I expected the description made us think it made ice. I bought it for my husband because he is a long haul truck driver and he goes through a lot of ice but the Lekue Ice Box doesn't make ice you have to fill cube tray with water put in freezer and it make small cubes
