The cantilever design is nice and the look is attractive, but the umbrella attaches to the pole through a plastic hook that breaks easily. Also, the base that the umbrella comes with positions the canopy close to the ground, which is good for reclining lawn chairs, but may be a little too low for other uses.

Not for windy area
For some reason we bought another one of these after the first one snapped like a toothpick in the wind. The second one did the same. I know that this should never be left up in windy weather, but the slightest breeze broke it. Beautiful umbrella and color but very top heavy.

Excellent umbrella
For the price, this is a great umbrella. The canopy is made of excellent fabric that holds up well. I've looked long and hard for a red that will not fade quickly and I have had this umbrella out in the sun for over a year with no fading or wear whatsoever. Love it!

Good umbrella for the price
Not bad for $80.00 (price after 20% coupon). We have enjoyed this umbrella and it lasted a few years out in the elements before it broke - it wouldn't open. It suited our budget. I'll be getting another one.
