Lamont Home™ Carly Hamper in Chocolate
The straps are glued and not sewn at the ends and mine came apart after two weeks. Item is not well constructed but it looked nice for two weeks until it fell apart.

Think this is ours--but not lid on ours
We bought two laundry hampers like this except w.o a lid--which this seems to have--
several years ago when we moved into a new house--
Large master closet but only space for laundry hamper was more vertical than horizontal...
we bought two--one for laundry and one for dry cleaning...
Use them every day--
don't usually carry laundry in the bag to the laundry room which is across the house--but it is fairly easy to take out and replace...
we think they work great--hold lot of dirty laundry and are very functional...D

Happy with this hamper
I loved the look of this hamper, but I was a little worried about putting it on our wedding registry after reading some of the reviews. We wanted something that looked nice and was pretty durable, but lightweight. So far, this hamper has been great. It looks really nice and has a removable liner and handles. It is very easy to carry the laundry around in. I can see how the woven fabric pieces could wear out, but we haven't had any issues yet with the durability.

This hamper is just what I was searching for. Light weight, durable, and comes with the liner. Chocolate color works perfect in my laundry room.

Coming apart, poorly made
I haven't had this for very long and the nylon strapping is coming apart. The straps are glued to one another rather than sewn, and the ends of the straps themselves are coming apart because they were just plain cut, not melted like they should have been. I'll have to continue to repair it as it falls apart, by melting the ends myself and sewing them together. I'd guess that most people wouldn't attempt to repair it, and it would just look like heck until they tossed it in the garbage. Me, if all else fails I'll cut all of the strapping off and sew an entirely new cover. Maybe. But don't buy this hamper.

Does its job
This hamper holds a good amount of clothing--enough for 2 medium sized loads. The lid doesn't fit too well, but I think that was caused by the shipping. It looks good, and nothing has fallen apart yet (although I've only had it for about 2 weeks).

Not well made
This hamper's weaving started coming undone around the rim of the cover less than a week after purchase. It cannot be cleaned well on the outside either. I tried hot gluing it back together but it simply wouldn't hold. Not worth the aggravation for 30 dollars -

I could do better myself
We received this as a wedding gift. I was excited to have a nice hamper for once, but my glee soon turned to dismay. This thing is literally hot glued together, the canvas strips and the metal frame. It started to fall apart after the first day of use, now, a month later the lid is practically ruined. It was freaking 30$!? are you kidding? I could make something WAY better for that. So disappointing, save your money for something nicer.
