Worthless!!!
My spoon split the very first time I used it. I washed it in the sink like I do all my other wooden ware. I was looking for replacements for the other wooden spoons I've been using for 10 years. These are going in the trash and it's a good thing I didn't throw my others away. Very Disappointed!!

Heed the reviewes below
Bought the set, used one spoon, handwashed because packaging said not dishwasher approved and it split while drying. Returned to BBand B and got my money back. I used to think Calphalon was a superior brand, but their utensils leave something to be desired.

waste of money
I had this on my wedding registry, I received them as a gift & unfortunately I have been disappointed in the product. I wrote a review earlier & mentioned that the spoons were very dry. What I was not aware of, is that you are not supposed to put these in the dishwasher (I don't remember anything on the package stating that) & also Pampered Chef has bamboo spoons for cheaper that can be put in the dish washer, never have to be oiled & they stand behind there products!!

Splinter & dry
These are really dry & one of them had a splinter soon after receiving them. I'm not sure why they are so rough & dry. I oiled them, like you do bamboo, & for awhile they were better but they are rough & dry again. I guess I'll have to regularly oil them like my cutting boards. They say wooden not bamboo so I don't know why I'm having this problem. I never had this problem with any of my mom's wooden spoons when I lived at home.
