JJ Cole® Satchel Bag in Stone Arbor
Cute but not so good
First I want to say I do recommend if you are not using a lot. I got the bag about to months ago and is already falling apart. The design is really good and I love that I can hang the bag instead of putting on the bottom of the stroller. The inside us a good size and allows you to bring a good ping of baby & mommy essentials. I just would like to last longer, especially for the price.

Falls Apart & Poor Storage
I loved the pattern of this and the matching bottle carrier has yet to have issues!
My son is almost four months old and we are on our second version of this bag. At two months (we had left the house maybe a dozen times) the diaper bag started to fall apart. The handles started fraying and the stitching around the inside started to come unraveled. I returned (the lady reluctantly exchanged it for me). Now, not even 2 months later I am at a loss again. I will be returning it and exchanging for a different diaper bag.
The bag also has poor storage functions. The two front zipper pockets are pretty much useless (I kept the receipt from the original purchase in one) and nothing in the other. My keys wouldn't even fit (it is just a basic car key with a key fob and a house key). The outside pockets on the front and the back of the bag hold a lot, but when they have diapers or wipes or even a toy, it starts to eat into the space available inside the bag. The outside bottle pockets can hold a regular narrow bottle, but the wide neck dr. browns bottles are extremely snug and hard to get out once put in. The inside storage is super handy, but once you add anything, you lose all space in the middle of the bag. I pack a good amount of stuff when we go out: 2 outfits, 4 diapers, travel wipes case, travel butt paste, stinky diaper bag holder, a receiving blanket, a small blanket, a couple of rattle toys, 2 bottles, a nursing cover, and if I am lucky my wallet - this bag can't even zip with those items in it.

I love the look of this bag. I like how many pockets it has. The changing pad is a little cheap, but I think that is the standard with the pads that come with diaper bags. When I first got this diaper bag, I would have given it 5 stars, but now after using it a few months, it is only getting 2. The leather on the handles is starting to crack and the stitching is fraying. I thought I may have a defective bag, but my friend who has the exact same bag is having the same issues. My daughter is only 3.5 months, and I just returned to work this week, so the bag only leaves the house maybe 1-2 times a week. (I have a smaller one for quick trips to the store). I have unpacked this bag and am returning it to the store today. Super sad, because it looks so cute, but if it only lasted a few months with only a few trips out of the house a week, it will not last as long as I need it to. Maybe if it were only $30-35 I would have kept it.

I was looking for a diaper bag that was modern and sophisticated and that could double as a "purse" - I know they are for lugging baby items around but since I'm the one carrying it I don't see why a diaper bag has to be covered in pastel baby things! It took me forever to find a bag I liked, but I found this one and received it at my shower 2 weeks ago. I love love LOVE it!!! It's already packed and ready to go for when Baby gets here in a month, and there is still plenty of room to add other things. It also comes with a changing pad (a cheap one, but it still comes with it - I ended up getting the matching diaper changing pad you can purchase) AND the stroller attachments, which is awesome. The material appears to be high quality, as well as the hardware and zippers. I also LOVE the detachable long strap, which was one of my requirements for a baby bag, as well as the many pockets (both inside and out).
All in all can't wait to use it in a month!
