The Aerobin 400 uses a patented aeration core inside a sealed bin to promote optimal aerobic breakdown of organic matter. The thermal insulation (1.5" thick double wall) conserves heat, leading to rapid breakdown of the biomass and works efficiently year-round, even in cold weather (if kept closed). There is no need to turn the biomass and it is pet- and rodent-resistant. It produces little or no odor and can kill noxious weeds & seeds. The bin is very easy to use: just open the large lid and drop in your organic waste (including but not limited to kitchen waste and shredded paper). After a short time fertile compost is produced which can easily be removed via two large side doors. The reservoir in the base can collect up to 4 gallons of highly fertile liquid fertilizer referred to as "compost tea" which is best diluted 10 to 1. (Visit www.aerobin400.com for details.)
