Through twisting and pulling upward, you have removed the core, which can be used later as a topper or as a "cupcake bite". Finally, push the plunger down over your desired solid filling (ice cream or thick buttercream works great!), pull upward to fill the plunger and push down again over your cored cupcake to fill the pastry. The Cupcake Plunger has two levels marked on its body - one for standard cupcake filling and one for jumbo cupcake filling - so you can accurately choose the desired amount of coring and filling every time.
