It can be immersed in boiling water, making it ideal for blanching and parboiling vegetables, plus it's perfect for boiling shrimp and dumplings, traditional uses like draining pasta and berries, and quickly steaming foods inside a saucepan. Its cylindrical shape allows it to sit below the top of a pot for added capacity. Colander measures 6 3/4" in diameter and is ideal for standard 3- and 4-quart saucepans. Has a sturdy stainless steel double-rod construction and a soft, non-slip handle for comfort and safety. Its structure collapses flat for easy storage. Dishwasher safe.
