This metal gate features a gravity-fed hinge that shuts and locks the gate automatically. The steel U-shaped powerframe keeps gate securely in place. The double-locking system on the handle is easy for adults to use, but difficult for a child. Door swings open in both directions. Gate can be used at the top of stairs, bottom of stairs, and between rooms. An extra-wide 21 1/2" walk-thru allows for easy in and out. Measures 29 1/2" H x 29 1/2" W and includes two 2.75" extensions which allow the gate to extend up to 38" W. Designed for children 6 - 24 months.
