I know these type of holders & have a helpful Tip
Hi, I have not tried these yet, but will probably purchase some. However, I have a tip for all out there! If you are using votives spray the inside with Pan or something equivalent. The left over wax just falls right out. But be careful when you light the candle as Pan is actually flammable. Some shiny metal type that are inside some candle holders does char too when exposed to fire so, be careful. I use good old wooden matches or those long neck lighters, they work well. Finally, I use a mild soap and water or spray with windex and they're good to go. This isn't my idea, I have heard it around for ages. Also, try using beeswax as it does have a lower melting point and cleans up nice. There are some bargains out there. Well, good luck!

buyer beware
these candle holders are pretty and if you use anything other than tealight candles or ever try to wash or clean these candle holders you will end up with clear candle holders. The color comes from a very thin film of color which easaily scratches and if put in warm water and using anything like a sponge or cloth- off comes the color film. This is NOT colored glass but a thin film. Not a good buy if you purchase more than 1 or 2. If you ever lend these to a friend for a party decoration- warn them to not try to clean them.
