Very Pleased with Results
We got the Instant King Bed Bridge to convert twin beds in a condo we were visiting for a week. It really improved our sleeping situation. We kept the twin sheets on the beds as the mattresses were somewhat slippery, then we put a fairly tight fitting king fitted sheet over the bridge. We did not have any slipping, sliding or separation. We were so pleased to be able to sleep on a nice big bed as opposed to the twins. The bridge was soft and did not bother us at all. We loved it.

Good enough!
I have not used it yet, but I was surprised when I fitted it that it was so bulky. Instead of now having a dip between the twin beds pushed together, we wil probably now have a raised ridge between them. But I am hoping that it will work well enough -- perhaps together with the new overfilled kingsize matress pad I bought!

Was hoping for more rigidity
This foam piece fits between the seam, but doesn't help a lot. If you're really looking to convert your bed to a king, I'd suggest trying the more deluxe (and rather pricey) kit that includes a band around both beds.

Works with a little ingenuity
This will work by doing a couple of things to keep it from sliding between the mattresses. I put a mattress pad on top of the beds and made sure the fitted sheet was tight enough that the beds wouldn't slide apart. Without the bridge, and just the mattress pad, the mattresses still separated a bit and caused the dip. I did not have this problem with the bridge in place.
Being 6'2" and close to 300 lbs., it was wonderful to sleep comfortably without being confined to a twin bed. Even with the cost of a good mattress pad, it is still a lot cheaper than buying a king bed. I was sharing a furnished apartment with a friend when I used this, so I wasn't about to go out and buy a new bed anyway!
I recommend this item.
