Unusable after a year
After about a year the connection to the shower pipe just fell off. The metal connector piece's threads were stripped and could no longer connect the shower head to the pipe. I dont undertand how such a well known manufacturer like Moen can make such a cheaply constructed product. Very disappointed, now I have to go buy a new showerhead in order to shower, an expense I didnt anticipate having to make this soon. Cheaper brands are more sturdy than this showerhead.

Awesome
Love the rain shower, my only complaint is that the handheld shower head hose isn't long enough

Fell off.
Well, this was nice... for about a year. Until yesterday, when the shower head randomly started spraying and then FELL OFF in the middle of my shower.
But it wasn't simply a case of needing tightening--it wasn't spraying from the spot where the unit connects to the shower pipe. It was spraying from the spot where the plastic shower head screws onto the metal connector piece (that screws onto the shower pipe). It didn't just fall off--the unit actually broke apart.
Turns out, after about a year of normal use, the metal connector piece will strip the threaded hole of the plastic shower head so that unit will break apart and the pieces can no longer be screwed together. Then there will be no way to connect the shower head to the pipe.
When I asked customer service what materials their product was made of, they replied, "Moen uses many different types of materials that are common throughout the industry." They would not even answer the question! They are probably embarrassed by how cheap the construction is.
You will love it for a while... then it will fall apart. It's up to you whether you want to buy a new $60 shower head every year. Personally, I would expect even a $30 shower head to last longer than this one.

LEAKS LEAKS LEAKS
it needs to be tightened after each use but still leaks terribly. It would be great otherwise and if I was married to a plumber.
