Fabulous
I am so happy with the Hamilton Beach Scoop coffee maker. I'd been using a Keurig and this is so much better. Using my regular coffee is less expensive and can use the brand I like best. Easy clean too.l.

Very good...but
I got mine four days after ordering from the store (Very good). I ran 14oz through the machine several times to clean and check water temp which was 160F in the cup. After that it worked fine WITH FINELY GROUND COFFEE. Today I tried some regular drip ground coffee. It was weak. So, I find that only finely ground coffee gives me a robust cup of coffee.

had this unit now fora bout 18 months and i love it makes the best coffee i ever had and it does not need to use those expensive K-Cups, just buy your favorite coffee and enjoy
i will get another one of these units if this one should fail me

update & pointers...
I've had this machine for 7-8 months and still love it!
Just 2 things...
1. dump the excess water reservoir every couple of days (ours had an old water taste when we came back from out of town). Just tip upside down over sink.
2. pack your coffee grounds with a spoon ~ or your thumb to get a stronger brew. Takes the water longer to filter through the grounds.
