Cuisinart® Elite Collection™ 12-Cup Food Processor 1 1
Perfect if you don't need 14 cups Bought this processor after seeing how high the 14 cup sat on my counter - all to accommodate a retractable cord. 14 c is really over the top unless you regularly cook for a large group - it's like trying to hit a tack with a sledgehammer. Two nesting bowls rather than 3, but that's also just right as their utility is overrated, I cook all the time and have yet to need more. In fundamentals - motor strength, design - exact same machine as the Cuisinart 14 c. BBB has a great deal with the included accessory case. Chose this over KA because it holds more liquid volume. My only complaint is the fact that food can get caught in the lid gasket, but there are tips online on how to clean it out. September 15, 2010
