I loved it... for a while
I bought this in October 2012 and used it regularly - never washed in dish washer, never abused in any way. After the first night, I found the top veggies/lettuce still would be a bit wilty but I solved that by placing a couple wet paper towels on top of the produce before putting the lid on. Then I loved it for three months. I was washing it by hand the other day (January now) and noticed all around where the "collapsible" part is, the green plastic is crumbling! I mean, it still works, still holds produce, but three months, really? I expected it to not start falling apart for at least a year! Oh well. "A" for space-saving creative idea - "D" for execution of design. Needs improvement.

Silicone cracks
I bought my first keeper this summer, it cracked and tore after a month. I bought another one. It also cracked and tore. I took it back to our store, got a full refund for both,the manager said I was the first customer to complain about it. I like the crisp fresh lettuce, will buy another one, but will save receipt, because, as you see in the reviews, it will probably crack as well.

Cracking?
I have had the collapsible salad keeper for about 6 weeks, and it works like a charm. My only complaint is that the soft collapsible material is cracking (although I have used it only in its extended position). I don't recall if I have ever run it through the dishwasher--maybe once when I first got it. The cracks will soon tear. However, I will buy another and contact the maker about the product's lifetime warranty.

Love it......
Purchased it three weeks ago. Pulled apart (by hand) a head of lettuce washed it and put it into the keeper. Today is the eight day in the keeper and it's like the day I bought the lettuce. Love it so much, I'm going to buy my daughter one. From the reviews I've read don't put it in the dishwasher.
