With an exclusive thumb rest, iron is comfortable and easy to handle. It also features 1600 watts of power and variable steam function for easy ironing. There's a highly polished scratch-resistant stainless steel Microsteam300 soleplate with precision tip to deliver excellent ironing performance even with hard-to-reach areas. Plus, the soleplate has a round shape at the back to go back and forth without creases. Self clean system flushes out loose mineral deposits, and the vertical steam function allows iron to be used in the upright position to remove wrinkles from drapes and hanging garments. Three-way auto shut-off turns the iron off in eight minutes if left vertically and 30 seconds if left horizontally or tipped over. With a large soft-touch rear, it has extra stability when the iron is on its heel, and the large water tank holds 8.45 ounces. UL listed. Model # DW2070.

Rowenta Iron
This is the third Rowenta iron my husband and I have purchased. We swear by them. This is the most comfortable one to handle of the three. It's easy to use and NOT HEAVY. Irons nicely and when we wear this one out, we will get another.

Love This Iron
This iron is fabulous. It steams beautifully, the nose is tapered so it works really well for pleats, the back of the plate is rounded to prevent ironing in new wrinkles, and it is heavy so you don't have to press down hard. Highly recommended.

Best Iron Ever
I am taking a quilting class. The teacher had a Rowenta iron and I loved how it pressed and steamed. This is the best iron I have ever had.

not durable
I used this iron for about three months before it died. The auto off switch malfunctioned and that was that. Rowenta offered to fix it if I sent it to them; shipping costs were unreasonable so instead I replaced it with the Black and Decker Digital.
