I love this! I should have gotten it years ago, I have a Dachshund and a 14 year old cat. The can now get up and down on the bed by themselves. The loved it right away.

WARNING!!!!
I purchased these Pet Stairs approximately 7 months ago for my 15lb dog. Yesterday morning while she was going up the stairs they collapsed injuring my dog.
The quality of these stairs is extremely poor. I'm not sure the support structure is actual wood. I suspect it is particle board. There is a hinge for the support legs that have 4 screws. The screws pulled out of the wood and a piece of support wood separated from under the stairs.
I returned the stairs to our local Bed Bath and Beyond and they were concerned and refunded my money with no questions asked. The store manager seemed genuinely concerned, In fact I was called by a district manager who was very apologetic and promised to contact their buyer and have this looked into. There have been several other negative reviews about these stairs collapsing.
Kudos to Bed Bath and Beyond for doing the right thing by the customer. In todays corporate world it is rather rare when a corporation stands behind what they sell and do the right thing for the customer.

Beware Color Options not as Photographed
Good grief! I order this product specifically because I thought the wood color shown in ALL of the product photos would match my Mahogany/Cherry bedroom suite.When delivered, it actually came in a flat, non finished looking, black matte. It is nothing like the photo! There were already scrap marks on the front that shows white paint underneath the black. The construction is average for today's standards..not real solid or sturdy, but doable. I am going to use these, even though they are not what I expected...I have seen the color "espresso" used for brown or black, but according to the photos, I thought it would be the same as advertised. My toy poodle was able to use these & it is too much trouble to mail back an order just for cosmetics.

D-A-N-G-E-R..looks deceiving..cheap hinge&screws
Looks are deceiving. because the sides seemed substantial, but closer look at hinge and screws make these stairs very dangerous. I purchased this item about 3 month ago. It has fallen 3 times with my dog going up or down it from my bed. The first time the tiny screws came out of the tiny hinge. I tried to repair it, but each time something else would happen and they would collapse, such as the pin failed that keeps the upright in place.
DO NOT BUY THESE STAIRS IF YOU LOVE YOUR PET!!!!
