I would recommend this little goodie to all coffee lovers. It takes a little longer to make, but the wait is worth it. Watch it though- don't overcook, it could burn. Enjoy

Wow! Wow! Wow!
This is the greatest for making one or two (large) nice and strong cups of espresso. It works well and is simple to use. Just keep an eye on it, I set my kitchen timer for 8 minutes and it is usually just about done then. I froth some milk and make my own personal version of latte. I am SOOOO glad I didn't spend $100-200 on an electric machine, having seen all the complaints of them breaking down, plus having to buy coffee pods. I use regular grind coffee in this. This thing is pretty much bullet-proof, and a replacement kit of 3 gaskets and 1 filter plate is only $9 so I think this is a bargain and will last. It is a little tough to clean, no soap being advised, so I just wipe it out real well and leave it to air dry.

Amazing coffee...not a fast process
I had a Kuerig, which was super convenient but the coffee was not strong enough and pretty small servings. THEN I went to Italy and knew when I came back I was going to find something that would be delish instead of OK. This is what they used in the hotel and it was amazing, however it is a 20 minute process if you do it exactly as instructed (cold filtered water, heat on low). AND you have to really watch the pot to make sure to pull it off RIGHT WHEN ITS FINISHED or the coffee with have a burned sour taste. It seems like a little too much work for me so I'm going to get the $100 one that has a heat base and timer that shuts off when finished, also much faster brew time. But if you've got the time this is the cheapest way to get authentically delicious Italian style coffee. ENJOY

A must buy!
I love this machine! After years of buying expensive machines and them breaking and not very user friendly, this machine is not only easy to use but is THE BEST espresso I have made myself. I have been looking for a way to make this myself to save money. This the only machine that has been able to make my Cafe' Mocha the way I get it at my local Starbucks. I buy the special dark roast from Starbucks have it ground. It really makes the perfect espresso or coffee. The espresso shots even contain a bit of crema on the top. This product is really a must have for the coffee lover and specialty drinks containing espresso. Clean up and use is so easy. I recommend!
