Poor zipper
While the quality of the protector seems fine otherwise, it seems unfortunate that the zipper separates so easily from the rest of the mattress protector. The fit was not too tight, but when I started to zip it up, the entire zipper pulled away from the vinyl.

very disappointed!
Purchased this for a twin pillow top mattress. We chose the 16" heavy gauge twin w/zipper thinking it would be durable and have plenty of room for the depth of our 12" deep mattress. We carefully lifted the mattress and slipped this cover over it. It went on easily enough and had plenty of room to spare since it does measure 16". However, when we got to the bottom of the mattress there was a zipper but it was not sewn on, it wasn't even glued! If that wasn't bad enough, the metal zipper itself was missing! So while the length of the zipper was just hanging on the floor, we had to search for the zipper which we did find but it wasn't attached to anything! This is going back today!
