Best cooking set I've ever owned
LOVE this quality contemporary stainless set! It is beautiful and a nice weight for durability and handling. My food cooks evenly and the glass lids are very nice. Love the lifetime warranty!
It took a bit to get used to how to use it properly for easy cleaning. Once you realize you need to use olive oil, heat the pan and put your food on the counter for 15 min. prior, you're all set. Now I can easily cook eggs, etc. and have a simple clean up. The fact that they are dishwasher safe is also a real selling point for me. I've had this set for over 3 years and am very happy with it!

Not happy with this set
I bought this set because a friend of mine has used her Calphalon for many years and loves it so much. I looked at other sets and read reviews. This seemed to be a good set. I have had no issue with the pots but the pans are terrible. Everything sticks to them. I checked the Calphalon site and found some tips to prevent sticking but the tips didn't help much. One tips is to let cold foods warm on the counter for 20 to 15 minutes. That just does not fit into my lifestyle. I did start using oil as they suggest and let the pan warm to a medium heat before using it but even a grilled cheese sandwich still sticks to it. If the set wasn't so expensive I would throw it out and buy new. As it is, I guess I'll just get 2 or 3 pans somewhere. Anything but Calphalon

Worst Set Ever!!
Absolutely hated these!
Cons:
- everything burns to these pans
-ugly rainbowing effect
-in order to remove rainbows must clean with chemicals.
-Not an easy clean up
-handles get hot
-will cause tears and curse words to flow freely
Pros:
-the stainless steel looks nice
We returned these and bought the Unison line, and couldn't be happier.

Good and Bad
The pots and pans hold heat very well.But if you don't mind spending extra time cleaning and having your pots and pans look like 2 years old after 2 weeks of use then look elsewhere. And yes i do use Barkeepers Friend. You also get scratches from plastic utensils as well as spots from adding salt to boiling water. But if you don't care what your pots and pans look like then these may be for you....
