fantastic!!
I have had my kitchenaid for about 8+ years now & the only complaint I've ever had was that the bowl needs to be cleaned prior to every use (dust etc. creeps me out!) these covers are a LIFESAVER!! they fit my 4.5 quart mixer like a glove & create a nice tight seal too (an added bonus! i can refrigerate unused batter right in the mixing bowl!) I can even store all the mixer attachments in the bowl & hide them under the cover when not in use... I read a review elsewhere that mentioned cutting the middle out of one of the covers to make it ideal for mixing really wet batters, or for beating in flours so it doesn't create a dustcloud... haven't tried it yet but I will be! don't hesitate - BUY THESE!! PS-> if you haven't tried, the kitchenaid makes EXCELLENT mashed potatoes & soooooo easily - just dump hot (drained after boiling) potatoes & a few pats of butter in & whisk, gradually add a small stream of milk until consistency is reached :)
