Loved it - but it fell apart
The handle came loose, so I tightened it - but lightly. Soon the area that held the handle on cracked and then fell apart.
I bought another Bodum in a little different style. No dishwasher time and no boiling water. No problems so far.

Great little French press
A cup of coffee is 6 oz. while a mug of coffee is 8 oz. in any country, including America. I borrowed the 3 cup press from a friend to try it before buying it. I followed the directions on the press and the bag of coffee. The product worked great and I enjoyed the best cup of decaffeinated coffee I have ever tasted.

I bought the 3 cup one, thinking of American cups...each 8 oz. But this thing seems to think that a cup is 4oz. While I am still going to use it as I really do not need more coffee then that in one sitting, I am still a little miffed at the "cups" issue. I will probably be buying a bigger one if I find myself hosting coffee more often as I wish to do.

Lousy
I purchased the 3 cup version, (just two months ago), and the glass started to crack, (and yes, I followed all the rules - not using it on the stove, no boiling water, etc...), it cracked so much, that I have to discard the whole unit. Wonderful! I should've listened to my wife and gotten the metallic ones or the steel ones.
