Good purchase
I have had these pots and pans for a little over a month now. The key to cooking with them is low and slow! Low heat (the base really conducts the heat well, so if you're blasting the flame it will quickly cook on whatever food you're trying to cook and ruin the pot/pan) and take your time. I was initially put off when they started looking spotted even after thoroughly washing them... but the key to getting them back to brand spanking new is READ THE INSTRUCTIONS and use "Bar Keepers Friend". The stuff is cheap, like 2.00 for a bottle of it... it's a powder cleaner and a little bit goes a long long way. Love these pots and pans!

If Looks Where Function!
This set looks great and has nice, heavy bottoms. The lids fit well and function as designed. However, everything sticks to the bottom of theses pan. Regardless of temperature and measures taken to prevent sticking, adding oil, butter etc. This is not my first rodeo in the kitchen folks, so please don't blame inexperience! I have a competitor's sauté pan that I have had for years and that is what sold me on the stainless. My speculation is there is a difference in the stainless alloy or the surface finish is different. regardless, it is frustrating.

Best pans I've had the chance to use.
I am a self-professed chef of 21 years of age. A few days ago, my Dad bought me these pans on a whim, and I have been looking for reasons to cook ever sense. I have recently became very interested in cooking, but I have only had the chance to use non-stick teflon type pans. This is the PERFECT set for someone who takes cooking seriously, but is still on a budget. Stainless steel is the safest material to cook with as I have learned, so I just feel better using these. I plan on having this wonderful set out live me. Food cooks faster, more consistently, and (as I see it) tastes better. I highly recommend any part of the collection, if not the whole set!
