Off to a great start
The ladies who clean my house begged me to invest in a new vacuum. The vacuums we've purchased at Target in the past only last a year or so and the cleaners recommended a cannister vacuum, mentioning the Kenmore Progressive. After doing some research I thought I'd try the Miele. The cleaners love this vacuum. They leave notes about how much they love this "wonderful vacuum." They are recommending it to everyone now. We have only hardwood floors in our house, which this model seems perfectly suited to. I was impressed with the suction and the setting levels (and the quiet motor is a plus). Hope I can still say great things about it a year or two from now.

Awesome for hardwood!
My house is all hardwood with a couple area rugs and I would absolutely recommend this vac if you have the same. I don't know if I would want it if I had all carpets though so keep that in mind. Its awesome for the hard to reach places and ESP the stairs. The cord zips itself up which is very cool! Its quiet and lightweight too!
